Hope For the Future
When I was a child growing up near the ocean I thought that the further you got away from shore, the deeper the water got. Simple logic. Now I know about sand bars, shipwrecks and grounding my kayak in 6 inches of water a quarter mile from shore!
With that same, naïve logic as adults, we think that every year our finances will automatically get better. How does that saying go, “’crazy’ is when you do the same thing over and over expecting different results?”
I think that the reason that we do that is because we feel stuck…like there really isn’t any practical option for those of us already set on a course in life, entrenched in responsibilities, without a lot of “wiggle room” time-wise or financially.
